Diary of a Pap
Kev the pap is, well, a pap. He trawls the streets of London in a green campervan stalking the rich and famous with a camera. He's been arrested, sworn at, chased by angry mobs and had his nose broken by Lilly Allen. Don't be fooled by the green campervan - it's got a V8 engine under the hood and has outrun Ronnie Wood when the pubs are closing.
Kev is not your stereotypical pap. He's intelligent, witty and ponderous, but you still don't want to get in his way when he needs to hose down Amy Winehouse on her way to The Priory. Over the course of making our film we encouraged Kev to keep an audio diary, which we found an extremely compelling insight into the dark and murky world of celebrity reportage.
We didn't get to use this wonderful material in the film, so we've edited down some of our favourite clips for you all to enjoy. Kev still has his dictaphone, and he's indicated he will be sending us new episodes over the coming weeks, so come back to visit every so often for more updates from Kev the Pap's diary...
